Meet Harry:

Growing up as the youngest of six (yeah - you read that right), my childhood years looked like beach trip talent shows and countless coffeehouse performances with siblings and friends. Cutting my teeth in suburban Atlanta, I honed my songwriting and production skills in the Cain brothers’ shared studio space, lovingly called “The Lab.” With the completion of my first self-produced EP by the age of 12, I was off to the races - never looking back.

As I dove deeper, assembling my own bands, serving through worship teams, and beginning to dabble in session guitar work for friends, my depth of skills naturally broadened out of pure necessity. I needed drums on my own recordings… so I figured it out (aka - became a pro quantizer). I needed better mixes for my demos, so I put in the reps (painfully so). I needed to pack out shows, so I got creative with promotion efforts… and so on. As I hyper-focused on doing the absolute best I could with what I had, my quality and confidence grew gradually yet steadily.

I blinked, and I found myself with a sturdy foundation in song composition, instrumental performance, record production, rehearsal structuring, and live show delivery through the sum of each and every musical exploration. Mastery starts with one step, and I’m just as proud of that very first demo - if not more - as I am of my more refined work that has followed a decade of persistence.

As I entered the pursuit of my mechanical engineering degree at Auburn University, I kept making music with friends (like The Student Section, an indie pop rock group with my high school best buddies), while leaning boldly into my passion for creating excellent, emotive music compositions and productions by serving other artists. Beyond expanding my professional work, I was also a founding member of Auburn University’s commercial music ensemble, Sonic Nation, through which I served as a songwriter, producer, and music director.

It’s been quite an adventure - all that to say: there’s been much trial, much error, yet much learning through the arc of my musical journey… growth that I’m grateful to leverage in the service of others. How else do we learn? It all starts with one step. Like the photo behind this text - a 14,179’ mountaintop I once summitted... one step at a time. I’m sincerely grateful for every experience and lesson I’ve journeyed through, and I still feel I’m just beginning. The best is always yet to come.

I now produce out of my multi-room studio in Auburn, AL with my co-pilot Monty (my blue heeler). While I invest in side projects with close friends and expand my professional work, my immediate personal release will be a premiere faith-focused record, walking out my ultimate purpose of joyfully declaring the gift of redeemed life - found abundantly and exclusively in Christ. In the busyness of life, I sometimes forget to lean into my own self-realization through song. So, I also started my get-out-of-the-box passion project, Do It Now, where I share a care-free demo about once a week, lovingly coined as "2takes.” Follow me on these and other adventures by exploring the link below!
